Nice place to stay

The stay was good. The hotel is at prime location with all markets nearby. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff was well behaved and polite. The room service was good.

WIFI is horrible, just does not work. Below average breakfast... in South India.. breakfast had tea only and coffee was chargeable additionally ..just didn't make any sense. Hotel staff were decent .... not rude or anything. They were still trying to accomodate.

Worst place to stay

It was a worst place I ever stayed, I booked 2nights from Canada, the photos looked beautiful but once I arrived there and seen it myself, the place look like a mansion, there was some weird smell on the hallways and inside the room there are bed bugs, I didn't even stayed there for 2 hours I went to the front desk and asked to cancel my stay and refund my money, I was told they have their cancellation policy, which they can't refund, and he gave me a phone number to contact OYO , They just transferring my calls to different persons but till now I haven't got my refund. Don't stay at this property

オーロヴィンド アシュラムが近い

部屋は広くはないけど清潔で充分。 虫は多め。 無料の朝食も利用しました。 イメージする「ポンディシェリっぽい」感じはホワイトタウンの川の東南側なので、こっちはごちゃっとした中にあります。 観光スポットや近くに美味しい屋台なども多く場所的には便利なホテルでした。

Stay only if you have nowhere to go!

We booked this place as we just need a stop over for a night. We arrived pretty late at night, at about 11:30 pm and were greeted by the owner. Overlooking the fact that we had turned up so late, came from a pretty long journey and were obviously hungry, he chose to remind us a couple of times that we have a checkout at 11 am in the morning. The room was less than average and not spacious. I was not comfortable to even use the washroom. The only good thing is the location of the place. Very near to the beach and the Arobindo Ashram. With the whole elite area, e forgot our one-night misery for a bit.

OYO rooms have serious technical infrastructure problems. I booked three rooms and cancelled one, however there was a strong disconnect between hotel, OYO and Customer. Once OYO called and said, you have booked only one room, then they agreed that yes, two rooms are booked, then they called me to say that you have cancelled your booking. Hotel property was not up to the mark. It was supposedly being renovated. Front desk was shabby. Though rooms were big in size, but lot of problems. AC was not working, room door was not closing properly. Only shower was working and not the tap. OYO should get the properties verified first before selling.
