"Absolutely wonderful stay at this rare find. It was so peaceful to be away from all the tourists in Amalfi coast. Hotel provides free shuttle to Salerno train station and port. The employees were so kind and the front desk ladies were so helpful with scheduling and finding good places to eat in different cities. Since it was in a smaller town the pricing of the restaurants was very reasonable and great quality food.

"Hotel Herculaneum was a perfect resting place for us. Very close to the archaeological site of Herculaneum meant we could easily visit and return to relax in the hotel. The room was clean, decorated to a high, modern standard with every amenity you could ask for. We were upgraded on rooms when we arrived, which meant we had a balcony overlooking Herculaneum too. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful and the staff were both helpful and polite. "

We had noisey neighbours upstairs on a couple of occasions, the first was dealt with by Ida on reception who was lovely, and the other I tried to ignore.not the hotel's fault at all .
