"Convenient location, walkable to all. Historic building on a quiet street with ample street parking (to avoid paying fee to park in hotel lot) Room was large with high ceilings and great storage, Decor and furnishings felt a bit dated. Kids' twin sofa beds were not comfortable. Master bedroom was large and comfortable. Check-in experience was great -- very attentive and helpful staff -- took the time to explain everything and to show us our room. I would recommend staying here as a good option to consider in Bayeux, but might consider two rooms next time vs the larger family suite, as our kids are old enough to have own space (and second bathroom0."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The photos do not do the hotel justice. The staff were very friendly, we slept in so we couldn't experience the breakfast but the room restaurant looked inviting. The air-conditioning worked very well for the August weather. A very comfortable stay!"

"The breakfast was excellent! If you are parking on the premises I advise reserving a spot in advance. There were no spaces available our first night but they were able to accommodate us for the rest of the stay. The staff was nice, hotel is very well maintained. For summer travelers, be aware that the rooms are not air conditioned which necessitated keeping windows open at night to sleep, but then we had to endure the noise from the restaurant in the courtyard which ran as late as midnight on one night."
Churchill Hotel Bayeux Centre

"We booked a privilege room. It had enough space and was very quiet - no external noise at all. Location is the best of any hotel in Bayeux. Right on the Main Street in the middle of all the restaurants, bars shops etc. all day tours depart from the street at the back of the hotel. It’s less than a 15 min walk to/from the train station. There are plenty of taxis. All staff were super friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. Room was spacious enough, clean and quiet. Aircon and wifi both were excellent. Breakfast was ok. The front desk team were the highlight. So friendly, so helpful. We stayed for a week and didn’t run out of things to do. There so much much more the Bayeux than D-Day beaches. We loved Churchill Hotel and would definitely return."

"Breakfast is included, so all good there. I was on the top floor when the outside temps were in the low 30s. The room was adequate for me but would have been much better with aircon. For the price I paid, I have no complaints at all. No fridge or aircon but did include towels and tea / coffee making facilities. Perfectly good."
