There's a flashy end near the marina. At the other end (turn left) near the river there's a bakery cum bike hire shop selling fantastic freshly made sandwiches. A few doors down there's a Spar selling the usual stuff at sensible prices. For when you don't want to spend a fortune on a pair of emergency flipflops!

There's more of a buzz in the marina area where the trains terminate but you should explore the whole area - it only takes 45 mins from one end of the bay to the other.

The port was lovely but unfortunately my purse got stolen while I was browsing a shop’s exterior display on my way to Lepanto parking. The thief stole my purse with all my ID documents, driver’s license, credit/debit cards and cash :-( Then I had to go to Soller city centre to submit a police report. This incident somewhat spoilt my vacation.

Lots of places to eat and drink and a very safe beach with plenty of room. Although busy, it feels very quiet. A good place from which to visit nearby Soller, where it is lovely to sit in the square and watch the world - and the trams - go by. Ca'n Prunera modern museum is definitely worth a visit.
