"The front desk people are amazing. They are knowledgeable and incredibly willing to help with whatever you need. I asked for so many things and all of it was taken care of with a smile and pleasant conversation. The hotel is really clean. There are enough amenities. We didn’t get to utilize a lot because it was a stop on the way to somewhere else. The bartender, and forgive me, I don’t remember his name, was very sweet and also very accommodating. Professional! Pretty sure I could’ve ordered a sidecar, a Rob Roy,or a sloe gin fizz and somehow he would’ve found out how to make it for me. Pretty sure anybody younger than 40 might not have any idea what I’m talking about. He would.
If we’re headed back down to Port St Lucie, FL again, I would absolutely stay there. Very comfortable and absolutely made you feel like they were happy you were there."
"The room was clean and comfortable. However, the website and receipt said there was supposed to be hand soap and shampoo in the bathroom. There was NOT any. We had to use our body wash until we were able to purchase some hand soap. The office was always closed with a rolling metal window covered whenever we went by. Other than that, we were happy with our stay."
"This is generally a nice hotel. The TownePlace Suites brand is comfortable, and the location is convenient. That’s why I’m not giving it a one-star review. The main problem appears to be poor management. My son plays travel baseball, and Port St. Lucie regularly hosts tournaments. I’ve stayed at many hotels in tournament-heavy areas and have never had a hotel refuse a late checkout when a team was eliminated. Our team was eliminated at 3:00 p.m. Monday, and our request was denied despite what appeared to be low occupancy. The hotel had every right to deny the request, but the General Manager made no effort to address it personally or explain the decision. The same lack of attention seemed evident throughout the property. The bathroom sink drained poorly, the toilet chain broke Saturday evening, and no maintenance staff was available until the next morning, forcing my son and me to use a bathroom in another room. Despite asking that management be informed, no apology was offered. We stayed from Thursday through Tuesday, yet housekeeping did not service our room until Monday, four days after check-in. We were forced to frequently request clean towels and empty our own trash cans. Several dryers in the laundry room were out of service, and the breakfast coffee dispenser was frequently left empty, frustrating many guests. Overall, the hotel has potential, but the General Manager’s lack of engagement and attention to guest needs significantly detracted from our stay."
"Stayed one night in room 112, which is an efficiency, for a business trip. Room was nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. Check in/out was very easy. Very convenient to the Tiki Bar for meals. Just to note, I did use a third party to arrange and pay for my room."
