"We stayed at Porto Evia Mare for 2 nights and had a great time! They just opened a couple months ago so it's a brand new place, very comfortable and with a great view! There was a small issue with our reservation and they provided a bottle of champagne for the inconvenience, what we really appreciated!
The location is also great, very close (about 10 minutes) from Eritrea. If I had to find a flaw to our stay I would say that some details are still in progress (decoration, pictures on the walls,...

"Over all our trip was pretty good coming from NZ as we meet a larger group of family here for a greek weeding. However as this place is mainly targeted at french we felt like second tier guests at times as many visitors don't speak english and are rather pushy and tend to take over, plus one staff member gave us a disscusted look when he realised we didn't speak french and then made comments passing us on other occasions. The pools are only open between 10-7 when there are lifeguards on and sports areas and equipment is the same but gear isn't available over the lunch period so we felt this was a little limiting when we had kids and the entertainment in the evenings was 95% french.
Bunglows were kept tidy however were rather dated and came with a kitchen but were without any utensiles ect but unecessary considering full board.
So whilst we did enjoy our stay we would unlikely come back"
"Plenty of parking . Easy access to beach . Excellent breakfast. Staff very attentive. Pool nice and cool . Drinks always on point . Will I be back ? Absolutely"
"Great family hotel next to the seaside. Excellent staff and food. The hotel can use some renovation in the interior areas.
Also the showers are open inside the room, which makes the water splash inside the bathroom.
Great for a family weekend!"

"Ok, fyi I did not read all the reviews when I booked this all inclusive last minute. I was debating between here and 2 others. I only stayed 2 out of 4 nights.
Mistakes/disappointments
Solo traveler - family friendly all inclusive (lots of families enjoying their stay as they should)
Older resort but I’ll give them credit for trying.
Bed was very firm and uncomfortable.
Woke the 2nd day and there was no water. Went downstairs around noon cause the phone in the room didn’t work. Was told it was back on but because I was on the third floor it would take some time to get the water in my room running. 2ish pm. No water and no ETA on when it would be back on.
Food - cafeteria style and disappointing. I went down for breakfast at 930 and had a half hour before they closed. Everything was picked through and literally the pans were empty. Was lucky to get two eggs.
Decided to bite the bullet and booked on the west coast of Athens and was fortunate enough to arrange for transportation within 2 hrs of requesting a driver.
This resort is far from the airport. It took the taxi 2hrs to get to the resort. He went down a couple of wrong streets cause that’s where his GPS told him to go. Cost me 91€ lucky for the length of time it took to get there. It’s on the southeastern coast of Athens.
AC - wasn’t working but managed to find the breaker but it wasn’t very effective.
Disappointed, my loss and I would not recommend for solo travellers"
"The property and room was good. A door screen is necessary as mosquitos enter the room and annoy sleepers. Front desk service was not warm; had to call a number to have someone come to check us in and the lady was very blunt and neither informative or welcoming in the least; no details available as to wifi password, for example. Nobody at front desk for check out either. Attached restaurant was rather noisy. "
