"This is a very nice place in a super-convenient location, about 5 minutes walk from the National Archaeological Museum, and also from the Lido train station (1 stop on the local trains from Villa San Giovanni, if you are taking the ferry or train to Sicily). "I'm used to 3 star hotels. This hotel is truly 4 star. The cleanliness, the staff and our very affordable ocean view suite with spectacular views of Mt. Etna, the Straits of Messina, and sunsets was wonderful. The robes and slippers is a nice perk. The hotel location is a few minutes walk to the high speed ferry to Messina, Sicily and a few minutes walk to the Lido train station. The hotel is convenient to the Lungomare waterfront and the famous Archeological Museum as well as several art galleries and shopping. All less than 10 minutes away by walking. Bocconissimo, the fabulous hotel restaurant, is open for a full buffet breakfast 7-10 am and dinner from 7:30-10 pm with a spectacular menu from delicious pizza to scrumptious pasta dishes, all with no salt and pepper needed, like some restaurants in Italy I've experienced. The downside to this hotel is the surroundings which were devastated by storm Harry in January. The city is working hard to restore the waterfront. However,don't miss this one!!!"
