Pros: the staff were very friendly, thanks for the early check in, room was very clean and very quiet, the bed was very comfortable, love the supermarket downstairs, good location walkable to many attractions, elevator worked well. CONS: No cool air conditioning, when I turned on the air con it was just a fan causing the room to smell of cigarettes, my guess was the air intake was near a smoking area, there were homeless and sketchy looking guys hanging near the entrance.

Good clean rooms, excellent location in middle of downtown, market downstairs. Skip the breakfast and walk to a pasteleria nearby (there are plenty and cheaper), also skip the microwave pizza no matter how hungry you are!

Enjoyable Oporto

Superb location as walking distance to many sights, restaurants and transportation. Also, supermarket in lower floor. Staff very competent and helpful. Had to request change of room due to excessive humidity. Excellent breakfast with variety of food. Recommend the hotel.

The staff were good but when we needed something and reception staff were detained dealing with a large group checking in, we had to ask the staff working the bar to call us a taxi because there was only one staff working reception. The rooms for 2 people are quite small but very clean. The mattress was a thinner mattress on top of another mattress. The top mattress often shifted in the night. On occassion, we almost landed on the floor. The breakfast buffet was very good. Lots of options. ! The location is great. It is within walking distance to bars, cafes and restaurants. There is a grocery store next door which is convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located. I’ve stayed at Ibis hotels before and found very simple and pleasant hotels, but on this occasion our shower and sink clogged easily, and the toilet paper hanger was falling apart. The included breakfast was fair and staff was very kind and helpful. Would recommend for a single night stay.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. Room was clean, breakfeast was good and fresh and staff was very friendly. The area outside the hotel is a bit dirty but I would comeback there in the future. Everything we did amd saw was between a 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel.

Good find in old town Porto

The room was very small. Not much open space. The location, right in old town, was spectacular. Made walking very easy. Breakfast was offered but very high priced for what was provided.

The place is close to main downtown point of interest. The is a parking with affordable price available. Room is really small for 3 (couple kid) people. The electric outlets are bad and very few outlets. In general with very few improvements would be a good place.

Good location

Hotel was in a good location right next to a large supermarket and lots of restaurants. No fridge which is not an issue but when asking for ice this was hard. Air conditioning was non existent. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Be careful booking a ‘mutliple bed’ room as the hotel consider this a family room but it was the same price as a twin bed room in hotel.com with no mention of it being a family room.

if not for the bed, it was great!

Nice and adequate breakfast buffet with pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, meat and way more. The room was clean and roomy. We booked for 2 twin beds but we received one of them as a child bed which was not only too thin for an adult but even for a child would have been dangerous with a side board covering over 1/3 of the bed over the head. So one of us had to sleep on the floor and that's not what we paid $200 per night for. Disappointed. They should have mentioned on their page the situation of the bed or called it child bed. Location was alright, a bit of walk to most areas to see.

Convenient location and good clean inexpensive 2 star hotel. Breakfast was very good. One member of staff was a bit short when speaking to my sister who was trying to communicate in Portuguese. The member of staff told her it would be better to speak in English. Perhaps a cultural issue, but my sister thought she was trying to use Portuguese and did not expect to be told to stop using Portuguese and switch to English
