Un lieu paisible pour visiter Porto ou se reposer

Nous avons été accueillis par Theresa la maîtresse des lieux. Cette immense maison au style colonial regorge de meubles de famille et d’objets qui créent une ambiance chaleureuse. La jardin est très plaisant, bien arboré et la piscine rafraîchissante par forte chaleur. Le petit deneuner est copieux (il nous tenait jusqu’au goûter). Teresa nous a cuisiné un delicieux repas un soir,accompagné de vins du Portugal, un régal. La maison est très proche de l’aeroport (15 min en.voiture) et à 2km d’un arrêt de métro qui vois conduit dans le centre de Porto en 30 minutes). Proche de l’aéroport signifie que l’on entend les avions, il faimut le savoir mais cela n’est pas gênant la nuit. Nous avons adoré notre sejour chez Teresa, son accueil et sa gentillesse.

nice b&b with adequate very clean pool and large gardens. breakfast good and hostess Theresa very helpful and informative, will cook excelent evening meal if requested (20 euro per person). About a 30 min walk to main restaurants and metro. A small supermarket and café 10 mins walk

Beautiful house 50 minutes from downtown Porto

This is a very beautiful place, an old mansion surrounded by a garden, with a pool and a huge porch to sit and enjoy the view. The room was standard, clean, comfortable without being luxurious. Breakfast was served with a variety of choices by Teresa in the house dining room. There's a train station 5 minutes from the house that takes 40 minutes to get to downtown Porto.

El sitio es precioso, la atención de la dueña, excelente, pero hay varias cosas que estropearon nuestra estancia, como el ruido permanente de los aviones que pasan por encima, los olores a humedad en la cocina y en general, la falta de mantenimiento. La limpieza del apartamento es deficiente.

Beautiful place to relax

This hotel looks like a fairytale, the garden is beautiful and huge, the pool is lovely and clean, the rooms, both common and personal, are decorated in an colonial style. The host Teresa is a lovely woman who will provide advice and help when needed.

A real gem of a find!

We had a lovely family holiday in this family run hotel. Teresa was very attentive and willingly to help with local knowledge. The place is beautiful, an old colonial type hotel with beautiful gardens and pool.

This should be described as B&B instead of hotel. Lovely remote location with very hospitable host. This would suit more mature traveller or traveller seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. If you want to be on social media or keep up to date at all times, then this location might not suit you as rooms do not have wifi or cable television.

Lovely old country house

We had a really good 2 night break, near Porto, but in the peace of the countryside. Good value, don't miss it if you are travelling this way.

c'est un endroit à découvrir plein de charme au calme ou l'on peut passer quelques jours l'accueil est très sympa et nous avions commandé un repas à base de poissons nous nous sommes régalé et arrosé d'un excellent vin je recommande l'adresse

Un séjour inattendu faute de trouver une chambre à Porto pour découvrir un endroit de rêve.Un accueil chaleureux et une cuisine étoilée de Térésa.Un endroit où nous reviendrons en week-end.

Idylle nach bei Porto

liegt in der Nähe von Porto (22km) und eignet sich daher bestens für die Erkundung dieser Stadt, die man erst auf den zweiten Blick liebt (so war es auf jeden Fall bei uns). Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen aber dafür wird man mit der Gartenanlage mehr als entschädigt. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist der nahe Flugplatz, so dass die Flugzeuge für bestimmte Zeiten genau über dem Hotel durchfliegen. Aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran und die Hilfsbereitschaft der Eigentümer macht alles wieder wett. Unbedingt ein eigenes Fahrzeug und dann ist das Hotel eine Idylle nach den Stadtrundgängen (Porto kann auch sehr einfach mit der Metro erreicht werden (Station ca 3 km entfernt mit P&R))

Nice quiet break

Lovey situation and garden, very friendly hostess. Only gripe was that it was a little difficult to find having driven north from Lisbon.

very friendly hotel close to the airport

We stayed only one night unfortunately.The hotel,although close to the airport if tucked away in a village.The gardens are tranquil and beautiful.There is a magnificent verandah and garden room to enjoy the outside space from.The whole atmosphere of the place is totally understated.The owners offered a warm hospitality.We will certainly visit again.
