"With VIP I asked for upgrade. They said they had 1 upgrade room left and would charge $50. Even asked the manager. Was told that Expedia doesn’t really hold much weight. Just thought I’d pass it aling"

"The rooms a hotel exterior have been upgraded! They did a good job. Room service was excellent and the breakfast was better than most hotels. The staff was very friendly!"

"First impressions go a long way, which is why when I stepped into the elevator, I wasn’t really sure what the room was going to be like because the elevator floor was filthy and when I stepped out of the elevator, the floor was dirty as well. "

"Vineyard Hacienda looks charming from the outside and has a very nice looking pool and spa, but once you enter the place, it is filled with dark hallways leading to various rooms. The furniture is very old, like imagine grandma's furniture and one room was even cordoned off like it was a museum. While the place was generally tidy, it was very dated and had an odd feeling to it. It was quite scary actually. I mean, the second I walked in I felt like there was an odd energy there. There was no way I was going to spend the night there. I booked a room at Jamul Casino which was close by and had brand new rooms for only 20 dollars more than Vineyard charged me. And speaking of charging, they didn't offer me any of my payment back even though I did not stay there. I understand that there is a cancellation policy, but their ad was so misleading that I feel it was dishonest. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Some friends stayed at Sycuan for $100 per night and said it was amazing! I never leave reviews but if this saves at least one poor soul from disappointment then it was worth my time to write it. "

"The pictures online are very misleading and do not represent the actual Inn. Free breakfast was also advertisted and there was no breakfast. Half the lights in our room were missing lightbulbs, we also had a section missing for outlets. We were told that room service would come ever other day, but we did not see them once in our 5 day, 4 night stay. There was a cockroach and a dirty bandaid. If you are looking for a cheap place to lay your head at night, this is the place for you. But beware, very misleading advertisements."
