"We spent a night at Cross Country Inn. Our room showed that great attention was paid by the management to decorating, maintenance and upkeep. Everything was clean and the bathroom fixtures and vanity seemed new. There were extra little touches everywhere that warmed our hearts. And the area around this property is all rural and very quiet. Very restorative. The reasons I subtracted a star were as follows. 1. The WiFi was very spotty. I do realize that this motel is in a rural area. That's part of the charm. But having WiFi that goes in and out can be a real nuisance in this age when we do so much of our business and life online. 2. As many upgrades as have been done here, I think it's time to figure out how to improve the number and placement of electrical outlets available, especially near the desk top--not just on the wall near the desk down by the floor. To the owners, the messages you left in the room blessed us greatly. Thank you."
