"We arrived late, and the host was very accommodating. We were able to contact them and they volunteered to stay later just in case fortunately we made -in in time.

"Struttura gestita benissimo, camera pulita, bagno veramente ottimo, letto perfetto. Colazione continentale e soprattutto una disponibilità ad accontentare su ogni richiesta. "This hotel is a 2-3 star property at best, the bed in it was terrible. It was an inner spring mattress that had clearly seen better days, with 'body wells' on each side and a raise in the middle from the use. The air conditioner control had literally no markings on it and had to contact the owner to get a picture sent so that I could get it to work.

"We had a wonderful stay at Mare Nostrum Petit Hôtel. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the town.
Enrico was an excellent communicator from the beginning and kindly upgraded our room, which we really appreciated. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was a great way to start the day.

"The rooms are lovely, modern, well equipped and clean. Each room has a different name! ( we were in the 'Prince's Room').
Some things to know when staying at Carizza Rooms:
- Hotels.com has an incorrect check--in time listed (2-4p.). Actual check-in is 2-3pm unless you notify property in advance. ( we arrived at 3:40pm to a locked door and stood outside for 10+ mins until manager arrived!)
