"The decoration of the hotel is on the verge of tacky/cheap, seems like a missed opportunity - that is of course subjective (to a point). I stayed in a spacious room on the ground floor that looks onto to the pool, with a little terrace area. The layout of the room works well. That said the noise is the room is quite bad, you hear noise from the room above you surprisingly loud, and you also hear noise from the corridor which accesses the main restaurant, and bathrooms. "What a stay!! We travel Europe and USA extensively. I have to say this was the most comfortable stay we have ever experienced. The Lobby was comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and comfortable. The view from the room was second to none. The restaurant staff was first class. I could go on and on but you get the idea. We really hated to leave. The hotel management and staff should be very proud of themselves."

"Parking and the monastery were very convenient. The hotel offered a free upgrade to a room with a balcony hot tub. The air conditioner worked great. The only downside was that we were there on a Monday so many shops and restaurants were not open."
