"Loved staying in the proprietor’s house! Beautiful and very clean! The bike shed was also nice to keep our bikes locked up. We didn’t care for the plastic pillow coverings on the bed because they were not very comfortable to sleep on. We would recommend Green Gables as a great place to stay!"

"Or hostess, Marg, was so friendly and helpful and made delicious breakfasts for us. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch of this lovely property during the early morning and evenings. We were visiting while biking the lovely root river trail in the area. It was nice to be able to store our bikes in the garage at the end of each day. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the skylights were a bonus. We hope to visit again."

"Room was clean. Linens and pillows smelled fresh, clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Provided pet friendly room. Very comfortable!"

"Continental breakfast is a pop tart, instant oatmeal, banana, orange, pudding, mac and cheese packet, and coffee. Juice machine was broken. Locked out of the building because room key did not work at the door after hours. Manager was upset for waking him up to open the door. Customer service was poor. Had to prove I needed the receipt from THEM because I booked through Expedia even though I paid at check-in. The manager actually argued the point and then "found" the receipt. Never again."
