"We were traveling by car and the hotel was easy to find. We had pre arranged to park at the hotel and the fee was reasonable. We had a delay on getting to hotel by a day but on calling the hotel they were very accommodating and sent an email with codes on to get in if we arrived late in the day. "Bad start - drove through the maze to drop off bags, asked hotel person (hard to identify since it's also a restaurant) for advice on where to park, and he said he had no idea at all. As parking is clearly an issue in St. Malo, he should've had some idea. We finally figured something reasonable out after 40 minutes of trying to get back out of town. Second - no AC, which is fine, but if you opened windows the noise from the bar went on late into the night. We asked about a fan, and they said...

There is a small grocery store in town and lots of great restaurants nearby. Easy walk to the beach. Apartment was clean and comfortable. "
