"This is a modern brand new hotel with high end fixtures. The location is awesome, right on the Auckland Viaduct. Restaurants, bars and other attractions are a short walk away. Our room had a full view of the viaduct and we could see ships going in and out. The staff was very friendly and they accommodated an early checkin at 11 AM! "

Braemar is on the historic register and is full of beautiful antiques and interesting paintings and books to peruse. It is in an excellent location, being in the city center and close to the harbor and ferry. Breakfast was delicious and the overall ambiance is wonderful. I highly recommend this to everyone coming to Auckland. "
