"The pousada was homey and comfortable. The colored bungalows made it feel a bit like a sleepaway camp and the home cooking made it feel like staying with a family. Great place if you're not looking for anything too upscale and are happy with mellow vibes. The grounds are beautifully kept and there's a nice, small pool. It's isolated on its' own more remote part of the island, but it's a short walk out to the dock to hop on a boat and explore the other wonders of Ilha Grande. "

"Amazing stay. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, and we could store our luggage at the front desk during the day which was nice!"

"Very disappointed, the host made you feel more like an intruder than a guest. Would not recommend as after six months of travelling around South America this is the worst stay I’ve had anywhere. "
