"Room was clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. Room was small and beds were small (full-size vs. queen). Convenient location and reasonably priced. Will stay again hopefully during season that we will be able to utilize the beach."

"My husband and I stayed there on October 19th and 20th, 2026 and our double bedroom with a sofa was good, except we faced a hedge on the first floor but the worse part of the room was the bathroom. The bathroom door swings inside the bathroom which was already too small and makes it impossible to open the door if someone is standing in front of or sitting on the toilet. I personally took a fall coming out of the tub and my Husband had to push my body with the door, to try and squeeze in to help me get up. Thank God I didn't pass out because EMS would have had to take the door off of its hinges. I hit my head on the vanity and left arm on the small trash can that protruded from under the vanity. Yes we reported the incident and management finally spoke to us once we were back home in Katy, TX on the 22nd but the only thing they offered was to write off one night's stay. Thankfully nothing is broken but I walked away badly bruised with a bad experience."

"We stayed in the Mill, the older section of the property. The guest room was spacious and clean. The room was well-equipped, with a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee pot. We shared a balcony overlooking the lake with the other rooms on our level. The staff were super-helpful. They would send us a text message almost every day, asking if we needed anything. A quick climb down the stairs ended up at the hot tub, which was very relaxing after a long day of hiking. The Traditions Restaurant was charming, and the food was excellent as far as quality and value. The servers were also very friendly and helpful. Be aware that the restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday. If you arrive on a different day, be prepared to go offsite (i.e. to another town) for food."

"Stayed here for the weekend with my kids to see fall foliage & relax. The campground is amazing with many things to do near by. You do need to bring your own linens and clean up after yourself. The cabin wasn’t to clean when we got there but I had cleaning supplies on hand so it wasn’t an issue for me. The views and private beach in front of our cabin was breathtaking. Can also rent kayaks, paddleboat and canoes there. A lot of activities at the place to entertain everyone"
