"Very good air conditioning, shutters blocked out the light well allowing us to sleep in, breakfast was nice and standard for Italy. Breakfast starts late at 8:30am which made it difficult to utilize when attending tours. The location of the hotel is perfect right next to the market which is central to the entire city."

"Clean, spacious room near the train station and walking distance to the sights we wanted to visit. Check in is at their sister hotel across the street on the third floor (there is a small elevator but going into the building still requires some stairs to the building’s central lobby). A/C actually works decent but takes a couple seconds to kick in and requires your key card to be inserted at the front door. Reception will hold your bags after check out if you need."

"The hotel is PERFECTLY situated near the Ponte Vecchio bridge, in the old quarter a block from the Petti Palace. Checking in is a little wonky because you go to the hotel across the street and they give you the keys to the airbnb across the street. But you have all of the amenities of the hotel (including access to the breakfast and roof deck). The AC was fantastic, which was a life saver during the 100 degree heatwave. "High point was the proximity to the historic center of the city centre. Accommodation was simple but just right. Breakfast minimal but sufficient."

"Upon entering into our room a noticed a strong fetid smell, we told the staff who said nothing was wrong and there was nothing they could do other than offer perfume to ease the smell. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to look for another hotel and had to stay. Also, the toilet tank was draining constantly and it was very very loud. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place or go back to it."

"Borgia di Firenze shares the building with other properties. It is central to everything, so convenient. We were serenaded every night with an opera singer practicing his craft in the square. Our favorite restaurant was literally 10-15 steps from the hotel. Small elevator; great room with modern amenities; don’t expect the typical lobby that is staffed around the clock. Did not know what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. We’ll stay here again when we return to Florence. Hopefully...

"Everything was wonderful. I would suggest you knowing a little Italian before you go to Italy, but the accommodations were just up to my expectations. The staff was wonderful. The cleaning ladies were wonderful and the buffet in the morning was just what I needed. I would definitely go back and stay there and recommend it to my family and friends. It’s in a great location to go to all the smaller cities around it and you can either walk or take the tram for less than two dollars."

"The location was amazing and the room was small but really cute. But We did travel during the heat dome but the ac on the entire floor broke. They didn’t have much to offer for the inconvenience. They offered a fan but it was actually taken by someone else. They had no other rooms and didn’t even offer a discount. I was disappointed by the customer service. It was very hot!!"

"We were welcomed by Mr Dimitri who gave us all the necessary information. The hotel is very well located, clean, good AC (a must during the heatwave). We got the breakfast for 7 euros pp and it was good. Overall, a great hotel in Florence."

"The location was nice as it was walking distance from several attractions. The staff was very helpful. She offered help with directions and restaurant suggestions and also ordered us a taxi. The room was clean and roomy for the two of us."
