"I really liked Roma Resort Colosseum. They set us up with after hours check-in because we arrived after their office closed for the day. It was an easy process. There are several very good restaurants and grocery stores within a 3 minute walk. The Metro entrance is right outside the buildings front door and the tram stop is right across the street. "Loved the location just north of The Vatican. Shopping was nearby. The subway was 2 blocks away for easy travel to access the city. There could have been better instructions on how to use the washing machine, or how to dry only. Better yet, a separate washer and dryer would have been more useful for multiple loads or sharing with other tenants. Communication from the staff was excellent, both by phone and in person. "

Our first room had some very loud construction noise nearby, but the staff was quick and kind in moving us to another hotel with a similar room. The new space was just as lovely and much quieter. It was located on a busier street, but still comfortable, and we appreciated how close it was to great restaurants and shopping without feeling overwhelming.
