Room was clean, beds comfortable, but the sheets were stale and breakfast was wanting. The sheets smelled with that old icky smell - like they had been in a closet for 6 months--maybe keep track of how long they are sitting on the shelf and run them through a cycle before using them. Still, that wouldn't have bothered me so much had the breakfast not been so scarce. Breakfast makes or breaks the stay. We finally found the butter (albeit in the fridge). Piece of advice - butter belongs on the counter where it can get soft and can spread, not rock solid in the fridge. Never found the napkins. Hashbrowns were soggy and undercooked--they could've been toasted earlier then reheated. OH and PLEASE serve juice like everyone else, not flavored water! gross! Sorry, it's the little things--and usually best western is really good at the little things, so I guess we've come to expect it and when it's less it's noticeable. The other Best Westerns we stayed at over the weekend had fresh fruit and other toppings (to add to yogurt and waffles) and also whipped cream. People notice when you're being cheap. They'll stay where the breakfast is memorable.
