"Had a very enjoyable stay at the Casa Valeria while in Sosua. Staff was very friendly and always greeted me. The room was done up daily and always looked fresh. The towels inside are apparently only for showering, however when she saw the need, the manager quickly brought me 2 beach towels to use for the pool and the beach. There was an issue for a couple of days with the key card not being able to open the door, but once the manager realized I was having issues, she immediately got a maintenance person on it. They ended up replacing the entire mechanism, and it worked great after that. The stay includes breakfast at the attached restaurant, but it's not the typical short list of options. It's whatever you want on the menu, including modifications to the menu item. The portions there are very generous and didn't leave you wanting more. Other meals satisfied as well. The hotel is basically in the core, so very short walking distance to not only the beaches, but also to restaurants and bars in the area. The only bad thing I experienced was the noise from the street, it never stops and it's loud, especially in the restaurant, however in my room I could hardly hear it (Main floor courtyard) Overall was a great experience and expect I will be going back at some point in time."

"This resort only the pool club and food is good. Staff is ok. But I made a reservation with a king size bed and got a room with two full size beds when it was only me and my husband. Also the bar is too far from the pool. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. "

"The room was very nice and had everything we needed. Full size fridge, stove, utensils. It was very clean and comfortable. The wifi was great although it didn’t extend outside of our room. Ocean view was nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful, not perfect English but definitely enough to get by. "

"The food was probably the best I've had on vacation. But the amenities listed on the website Vs what was actually there were very different. There was no beach bar or even beach access for that matter. Long walk to a private undeveloped beach which we did enjoy. But did not have any amenities, such as umbrellas. Chairs and definitely no bar as advertised. There was only one bar and restaurant open for the duration of our stay. "

"This is our 2nd time booking at this hotel. Tbh it is such a serene place. The staff is very friendly. The rooms, pool, beach, food EVERYTHING was just right. Our waitress Ruth, was very attentive and was the best “nurse” when my husband got a splinter on the wood deck surrounding the pool. "

"All of the above are true. The staff is amazing, especially Eduardo, the coffee guy. He deserves a raise. My room was clean, modern and bright. Loved the tall ceilings and big balcony. The resort is nice and intimate. I would recommend this resort to my friends."

" Clean room. Requested early checkin and it was confirmed but the room wasn't ready. Not a big deal. We only had an hour to wait. Good food. Overall great experience. "
