It's not often that you get such a perfect match with accommodation in the middle of the countryside and with a host couple who became like new friends. We give them the highest marks. "The apartments are nice but the hotel is located at the junction of two mountain rivers which are very noisy.
The internet said that the hotel had 24hr reception but it is only open for limited hours and closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The hotel swimming pool was also closed for the first part of our visit.
Probably all this was incorporated into the price we paid but the advertising didn't state it."
"Habitués aux Mercure Hotels, au regard du prix payé et malgré le côté neuf de de denier (ouvert en juin) nous avons été déçu par la présence de trop de matériaux de chantier, des travaux non finis, une insonorisation déplorable (c'est comme si nous regardions la TV dans notre chambre), la VMC non fonctionnelle, le téléphone non fonctionnel. De plus les tarifs du SPA (soins du corps son prohibitifs (plus de 300 € pour 1 heure de massage en couple) en comparaison à d'autres SPA d'hôtel Mercure....
"Marianne was an attentive host. Check-in was easy, parking was on site, the rooms in the family unit were comfortable. The house is impeccably maintained, inside and out, with lonely sitting areas outside and a cute little town to stroll around. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! "
