Farmstay in Pulaski County

"April 2026 stay, which was 'out of season'. Booked room for five nights with our adult daughter accompanying us. Arrived to find two sets of convention people at the site and the room allocated was a double occupancy bed. Went back to reception and they eventually allocated us a room in 'the estate', an adjacent set of cabins located about 1 mile away. Location was picturesque with lakeside views. Room was clean and tidy although the bathroom floor corners had some detritus (which remained after the day 3 refresh) The negatives are they use this time to maintain the property. Gym room closed, most outdoor pools closed, only two of seven restaurants and no boats/aquatic activities available. Additionally, people who travel eventually need to perform clothes washing. Only two sections have machines, one had all four machines out-of-order and the other location had a system where you have to download an app to get the machine to run. Works fine unless your phone is not regionally coded to America. On the positive, the room was quiet (except the in-wall AC) and you had dedicated parking. The wildlife was more likely to be seem and appreciated with less people about and they did have an off-site gym pass (5.8 miles away). The Landshark restaurant has a great outlook, the staff are attentive and to food/atmosphere is great."

"We went to St Robert’s for a Military graduation. We chose Quality Inn for the budget friendly price and location. We checked in on a Monday night, right away there is no elevator at all. Not great for the elderly. Luckily my parents were on the first floor. We get into of first room, doesn’t look like it was cleaned at all. There were someone’s acrylic fake nails on the bathroom floor, bites and pieces of dog food through the room, and other trash and a pill of some kind on the floor. They clearly did not clean or vacuum. Not to mention the toilet did not flush properly. I went and complained, the front desk said that all she could do was move us to a new room. So we moved, now we’re on the 2nd floor. Go in and inspect not terrible but not great. There is an orange peel on floor and other particles of trash. Vacuuming is not a thing. Also another pain pill in the bathroom. Then I went to use the ice bucket and there was mold in it. New girl at front desk gave me managers name and to talk to her next morning. Nothing happened she made excuse that housekeeping is new. I watch them not clean any rooms the entire 2nd day we were there. Also I was informed the manager is friends with them so nothing happens. Terrible stay not clean at all. The manager said she could refund the service fee and taxes that was it. She didn’t want to see proof of any of it and I felt like she was just telling me what I wanted to hear. Also no hot breakfast and bread was stale. Will not return ever."

"The parking lot at Village Inn was clean but the bathroom was not clean. The floor in the bathroom needed a very thorough cleansing and the bath tub."

"Check in was smooth, the front desk agent super helpful, I request late check out and they gave me it with no hesitation. Definitely a good place to satay on my nect trip."
