We had a great time k, the staff was very friendly, unfortunately in some instances it seemed they were lacking management/short staff, specifically in the dinning areas. In the room the A/C was loud but did not cool down as much.

Due to horrible checkin experience with a rude staff member and and an unclean room my experience is tainted. However my butler and PR manager of the hotel did try to make my experience better. I just expected the over hotel specifically building 19 to be cleaner overall. The walls were dirty there were bugs crawling inside my room and in the hallways.

Zero A/C indoors any restaurant on property. A/C don’t work that well in room, mini bar was poorly stocked, buffet food was not good for breakfast, stage at buffet was not good as you had to wait for drinks and they would never stop by. arrive to eat with an Hour left and nothing was stocked, tiles missing in pools and some structure repairs were needed. Food at restaurants were good. They had people trying to sell you timeshares when you arrived and also had people walking up all day trying to sell homemade items. Probably will not be back.

Beautiful resort but our room wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Dirt was around the tub area, shower had used bottle of shampoo / conditioner that was never replaced. Faucets were dirty and also shower heads. It seemed like there was only A/C in our hotel room, everywhere else was hot as hell. Also the concierge guys who sit at the desk on the first floor of the buildings near the elevator harassed us the entire 5 days we were there to meet with someone regarding a “promotion” which we didn’t have time nor were interested. Kept calling our room at 8 am which was very obnoxious and wouldn’t stop.

Room was spacious and comfortable. But bathroom had mold. Service at Hunters was perfect! Our servers Damian and Julio were great! But at Grazie restaurant the air conditioning was bad and the food came out wrong after an hour of waiting. Also on the hallways and public bathroom there were roaches. Overall was ok but there is room for improvement for a 4 diamond hotel.

La verdad el servicio al cliente de este hotel es horrible no me gusto para nada, las cervezas frías y duraban mucho para atenderte y en mala forma, no hay carros que te llevan de un lado a otro en el hotel solo para las habitación o la playa y casi no hay carros, en dos ocasiones esperamos más de 20 minutos para que nos llevaran a l habitación y como quiera tuvimos que caminar aproximadamente 8 minutos a nuestra habitación ya que los carros duran mucho en llegar al lobby y cuando nos íbamos llamamos a recepción para que nos envíe a alguien por las maletas que llevábamos y esperamos 35 minutos y al final también tuvimos que irnos con las maletas caminando porque nunca llego, en las habitación y más en las que tienen el área de la piscina hay insectos 😭

So this place is a mixed bag. The property itself is nice but the service is lacking. When I aksed for a drink at dinner or other meals, I might get it before I was finished eating or I might not get it at all. Our room had a weird smell and when I got home everything in my bag had to be washed because that smell came home in everything. The restaurants were ok but not great. My wife and I both got sick while we were there. It took us a couple days to actually figure out what was available and when as they don't really post clear schedules. There is only one place for breakfast and it's all the way up in the main lobby area so get ready for a long walk first thing in the morning. They also allow vendors to set up tents inside the property and walk freely around the property. You expect to be acosted when youre out and about but you don't want that when youre inside the resort. Most of the activities listed in the description are not actually available without a paid excursion which isn't clear when booking. Finally the resort charged us $45 for sunblock which is actually criminal and was my final straw. I do not recommend this property and I'm honestly not sure if its the actual property or if this is just the DR in general. But I dont need or want to return.

The service was above and beyond I had the pleasure to meet the Executive Chef walking to my room and he asked me how was my stay and where was my dinner reservation for that night and he prepared something very special that night for at the Ocean View restaurant. The Grill buffet excelente chef was so nice and all the server very pleasant. I was feeling a little sick and Luis prepared me lime and seltzer and bitters that definitely helped my stomach. I my wonderful guy Angel I don’t have words to say how he treated me for the whole entire stay. I definitely want to go back as soon as possible thank you all for your attention oh almost forgot about my morning room service excellent.
