"We absolutely LOVED this place! My kids said it’s hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed. The treehouse is magical, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, the kitchen perfectly appointed. I couldn’t speak higher of this perfect spot. Even walkable to town (sidewalk the whole way) although a bit far with young kids. And the local store just around the corner had everything we needed. The trail around the property we walked multiple times and all enjoyed....

"Rancho de Lelo Ecolodge is a family owned small lodge, located about 20 minutes from the main area of Monte Verde. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay with this charming family. The National Park is only 10-15 minutes drive. The farm to table cuisine was awesome. Highly recommended. "

"We really loved this property. Location: it is a little out of the town, not by much but it is a steep hill to climb, so if you don't like a bit of a walk this is not the place for you. It has 2 access points, 1 by vehicle and 1 by foot. We read reviews about the vehicle access being concerning if you didnt have a 4v4. We had a Yaris and managed just fine. "Slightly remote lodge, with amazing ocean and jungle views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only restaurant served very good food, offers friendly service, with daily specials. The pool is beautiful and peaceful. Lots of wildlife are present, including a troop of Howler Monkeys that howl at 4 am and 4 pm everyday. There are lots of trails for people to explore. "Very difficult to get to - hour and a half of bumpy roads to Carate, then a 3.5k hike. The logistics were not well communicated, but worked out fine. Hot (mid-April visit). The grounds are pretty special with spider monkeys frolicking in the trees right above the tents and ocean waves supplying 24-7 white noise. The guided hike into the National Park was underwhelming - the wildlife was superb, but you only skirt the periphery of the park and don't get to really explore the old growth. "

"Wonderful property. Staff picked us up at the beach after our wet landing boat ride from Sierpe. Room #11 was perfect for an couple with an lovely patio including a hammock overlooking the river and ocean. Breakfast included with lunch and dining to purchase, all food options were very beautiful presentation, delicious and reasonably priced. Property is well kept with beautiful landscape and steps to the beach. A mile w allow into town took 30minutes or front desk can call a local taxi for $10....
