"Give me a break - building a cover over your Mercedes when the rooms are in need of updates! Two out of three lights in the washroom are not working, the one that does is over the toilet, faucet is leaking water over the counter, shower door will NOT STAY closed - magnets rusted and NO towel racks left on the wall!"

"The house is very isolated. Not feasible to walk back and forth to Sabang, where the closet market is located. The house had not been cleaned in weeks, which meant the beds were very dusty. Recommend bringing your own linens. There was no drinking water or wifi, and breakfast was not included as advertised. Power goes out often (not Bahay Isla's fault), so good luck sleeping when the weather is hot. "

"This resort ticks all the boxes for me being a solo traveler. Very clean, better than average facilities, super comfortable rooms. The restaurant is terrific for simple meals and snacks. The staff here are extremely attentive and so friendly. This place will always be my choice when in this location."

"This is a resort with a lot of heart. I immediately felt welcomed by the community of divers and the staff. This is a place where people remember your name. "There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort. First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing. We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained. There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. "Great resort, wonderful staff, extremely accommodating and very clean. The food is amazing also quite beach access. The dive shop is top notch. You won’t get hassled by people like in sabang. I will only stay at badladz from now on when visiting puerto galera. Oh and the beer is ice cold!"
