"Firstly, we were fooled by the description of the boat's locayion. Its nowhere near the Tahrir Square or downtown Cairo. Travellers, be aware! It's rather the opposite. Quite far away. Beddings are very old, torn and smelly. We expected better room condition. The breakfast was okay though. "

"The Sofitel is perfectly located in the heart of the city adjacent to the Nile. The entertainment is such that you don't have to leave your hotel if you choose not too. The views of the Nile and sunset are perfect from the 3rd floor. The sunken tub is a dream after a long day of exploring the city. I would highly recommend and will stay here again."
