"Decent parking. Close to restaurants and supermarkets, easy 20 minute walk to CBD. Room faced an inner courtyard, with very little natural light and a view directly into the opposite room if you opened the curtains- though there was little point due to the lack of light. Felt a bit subterranean, but as a place to sleep it was comfortable and good value."

"The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, hot water kettle and dishes. The room was clean and also had a washer/dryer in the bathroom which I loved. We checked in after hours and had limited interaction with the staff but the few times they were friendly. The only thing that I noticed that could have been better is the carpet in the hallway from the elevator to our room appeared to have not been vacuumed while we were there. "Of you’re every in Brisbane, this is the place to stay. The attention to detail in maintaining its heritage character was wonderful. The large well appointed room and bathroom was appreciated. Five minutes down the hill to restaurants and a further five minutes to the botanical gardens made this a very accessible location. Loved our one night stay there. "

"The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. The only probelm was the curtains didnt close all the way and let a lot of the light in from neighbouring hotel/attractions. There was also very loud noise coming from the resistance next door until 12. mid.ight and some work from possible machinery in the alley down from my window. I was on the 6th floor. I didnt get a great sleep."
