"By far the most beautiful private space we stayed in while in Iceland. It is very secluded, quiet and the unassuming exterior conceals an interior that will take your breath away. The price seemed a bit high when we booked it, but after experiencing it first hand I feel it was worth every krona and then some. I would love to have stayed a few days so I could really soak in the farm and become even better friends with the resident ponies! It was everything I was hoping it would be! "

The location is great as a base to travel to Vik, the black sand beach, all the waterfalls in between, etc. Vestmannaeyjar (Westman) Islands is very close too (very close). It is also perfect if you start the Golden Circle in Reykjavik and then continue from Selfoss to Bryggjur in the afternoon instead of returning to Reykjavik.
