"Nice hotel , located not far from central Siena. Spacious, clean and very comfortable room with large bathroom. Definitely far better than expected. Good communication via WhatsApp. Allowed us to check in late . We didn’t order any breakfast but there was a kitchenette with fridge, kettle tea and coffee and pastries available all day long for everyone. Could not recommend enough. "

"We loved our stay here. It’s a special property and inn. The hosts Lorenzo and Giacomo are so kind and helpful. They also can be trusted on restaurant recommendations. We found the food in Siena to be amazing. The daily breakfasts are excellent with fresh ingredients and many choices. The setting and views could not be better. As you’d expect at a property this old, the rooms are small but the room was comfortable and had great amenities- the mattress, sheets and towels were all high quality. "

"We could not be happier with our stay at Il Verreno. We arrived late on our first night and they were able to hold our table in the restaurant for dinner. My husband had Coeliac disease and not once did we have to tell the staff, they had a note in file and every single one of them remembered for the whole trip.
