"The property I feel is under renovation. So cleanliness is an issue right now. Pool was not clean. Staff was ok but the service standards not comparable to what Asian countries like India has. It was similar to bed and breakfast. Help yourself to enjoy the location which was good."

"High Peaks is a beautiful resort hotel in Lake Placid. Rooms are spacious and my view of the lake and mountains was great! Lobby area has the look and feel of a classic Adirondack Mountain Lodge."

"We’ve stayed here many times and generally have a great stay. This stay, we opted to pay an additional $85 for a two hour late check out.
