"I recently stayed at the Bayhouse it was a nightmare my air conditioning wasn’t working three out of five days I was there. My air conditioning wasn’t working leaking water they said a technician fixed it the following day it still was broke. My water was cold and lukewarm, not really what you consider hot. I got fly bugs in my room thousands of them was In my room and also in my shower. They told me all the rooms were full and I can’t move rooms. I spent over 700 usd and feel robbed from a good time unable to sleep, my room took hours to clean I had to ask them to clean my room. Once it was clean I came back to bugs in my bed which were biting me and they hunted bad! I was told the property manager was never there and I never communicated she never called it was always through a third person. I was told she would reach when she became available and never did"

"The whole place has a rundown feel to it. I understand refurbishment is planned. Bathroom fittings were worn toilet dodnt flush, had to wait till morning to get it fixed. Food in restaurant was vastly overpriced very little choice ( chicken or fish from barbecue) so called buffet with sliced onions, tomatoes, a few other bits allegedly constitution salad. Some cooked veg. Didn't bother with breakfast. Price of the room was not justified in my opinion. Far better hotels nearby with far lower prices"

"The property itself is very nice, however the experience at the front desk checking in was not that good. The last thing one wants to do is to try to remember 20 plus things someone is saying to you about the amenities etc. after you have traveled for over 10 hours and is tired and beat! I think a print out of those things would be extremely helpful to give to guests instead of someone saying it while one is trying to fill out forms. The gentleman at the front was not welcoming at all. The other staff members were great, especially Loraine, Roxanne and Ingrid."
