"Good day. I am writing because we had a flood in our room. They came and fixed it but our clothes and personal stuff were all wet. It was leaking all day. No one from the staff came and asked us if everything was ok. It was just brushed off. No offers for another room or anything. Highly disappointed. I would write anything but when we first arrived there was jack hammering going in in the construction and we were on the 2nd floor. It seemed like a nightmare from the beginning. I enjoyed my stay in London but not at the hotel. I just survived breast cancer and this was my cancer free vacation. I hope you can make this right. Sincerely Rachael Hettinger. "My favourite hotel in London. I have now stayed here multiple times. Excellent customer service, rooms are clean, comfortable and have all the accessories needed for a wonderful stay. Bathrooms are spacious, clean and always tonnes of hot water."

"We booked through the Hotel.com 4 months prior but unfortunately they told us that it didn’t register with them! All very confusing but our deluxe queen suite wasn’t available! "

"Property rooms were small but that was to be expected due to the location. This hotel was centrally located and you get easy access to the tube station. I would 100% stay here again. There were also supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Beds were very comfortable too. Only downside was very narrow hallways and very small elevator. "

"This listing is incomplete. Right off the bat, they wanted £40 to check-in early. Rather than give available rooms to folks first come first served like other hotels, they wanted more money. The cocoon concept seemed pretty cool, except the room we got… - has no windows - is split in two vertically so you have to crawl around like you’re camping (hit my head twice) and the ladder is in the way of the bottom one - there is nowhere to put stuff except in the crawl spaces in front of the bed and one “platform” for one suitcase (no nightstand, no counter space in the bathroom, no closet, no hangers, no desk) had to use the toilet and the top of the garbage can - there is nowhere to sit except the bed, and the toilet - nothing in the room (no coffee, no iron, no hair dryer, no TV, no cups, no ice bucket, nada) - no front desk (though it says so on the amenities) only a row of iPads for self check-in and a few people loitering around - no phone to call the non-existent front desk to ask if they have any of the items above - lots of outlets for charging, yet none in the bathroom for hair drying (brought our own)(maybe it’s UK code) - not see through but translucent bathroom divider (I left the room while my daughter showered) - can’t turn the AC down below 19 degrees but room never got below 23 - then, to top it all off, they wanted £45 to out the bags in storage at checkout - same price as a few other “normal”/“real” hotels, not including early check-in fees and fee"
