Everything was within walking distance or you can use the trolley that runs up until 12midnight for $5/day. Our family had a wonderful 2day stay. Already looking when we can return. "This was a last minute stay at St Pete Beach so hotel availability was limited. We arrived around 3 pm, check in is 4pm, and was told that we could check in but our room was not ready and they would text us when the room was ready. We waited until around 4:15 pm and did not receive a text so we went in to check on the room. We were told it was ready. I don’t know why we didn’t receive a text message informing us it was ready. "I took my elderly mom here for her first time to the beach and we had such a lovely time. Everything was very accessible and easy to traverse for her with her limited mobility and the location was perfect - near an incredible spot on the beach and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful and attentive to the property and the views from our balcony couldn’t be beat."

"Great Hotel with friendly staff! Stayed in the double room king bed suite and I highly recommend it for travelers that need a 2nd bedroom. I worked remotely for almost two weeks and I had zero issues. The included breakfast is excellent and generously replenished when food runs low. Don't pay more when this hotel has everything you need!"

"We had an amazing experience staying at the grand at the island grand at tradewinds. From our check in and welcome to the checkout and everything in between was wonderful. Staff was helpful and friendly and went above and beyond. The room and the grounds were clean and well maintained. There are tons of food options and activities on the property as well as a beautiful beach. We are looking forward to come back soon."

Also, the curtains really make the room dark, which is a HUGE plus for those of us who need a dark space to sleep. Everything was comfortable, clean, and the location was central to everything."

"A unique hotel in a good location. Walking distance to St Pete pier and everything in Central Blvd. The coffee shop has good and affordable coffee and snacks. The Tap room always had people hanging out or eating. The pool was a little warm to me, but it is very hot and humid outside so they can’t really control it. Staff is friendly and helpful."

"Good location with easy access over the causeway to Treasure Island and Madeira Beach. Top floor has a bit of a musty smell but Hotel is 110 years old. Wish we had seen some ghosts. Rooms are huge with comfortable bed and good size bathroom. Cold AC just a bit noisy. Breakfast was the best we have had by far at this price point. Good choice for this area."

"I have stayed a few times. It’s located in the perfect spot and reasonably priced. The only downfall that I have had are the walls are paper thin and you hear every thing your neighbors are doing and anyone walking down the halls at night. Makes for a sleepless night."
