"I stayed in room 138, it was humid in the room the entire time I was there. The plug situation left a lot to the imagination, you had to leave certain light switches on in order for the refrigerator to work as well as the plug in the bathroom area. The mattresses were lumpy. I did feel safe and the front office staff was very courteous. Had I not been as tired as I was at the end of my day in San Marcos I might have switched hotels. I will say, after a day at the river, this might have been a fine accommodation for a group of friends, but for 2 older ladies, it left a lot to be desired."

"Room was fine, quite comfortable. Pool was in front of the hotel and green with algae. Front door was off the track. Elevator was in poor condition (buttons falling off, musty smell, no a/c). Breakfast was sub-par. Eggs tasted rubbery and pre-cooked/reheated. Staff was inconsistent with communication regarding late check-out, which caused stress trying to figure out check-out situation."

"The hotel was located in a good area. Checking it at 11pm at night, it was quiet and peaceful. Traveling alone with my daughter it felt safe. The rooms were clean but not updated. The bathrooms had mounted shampoo/conditioner/bodywash available. At 7:45am we went down to breakfast and there was not much to choose from. At the time we went, apart from the waffle machine there were bagels and dried cereal but not really much else."
