"The hotel was much larger than we expected for the small town of Herrieden, but it was a very nice stay. The breakfast was very nice and we appreciated the scrambled eggs! The room was comfortable, but could use air conditioning in the warmer months. We look forward to coming back!"

"Lovely accommodating owner and staff but this is really a well located café (even the sign says Café Gerberhaus!) with good basic rooms. Gardens off the back with a lot of potential but not maintained, as the focus seems to be to just manage everything else day to day, which they do! Can park right on the street, especially overnight, but better to park in the (easy to access) huge lot just outside the old wall, about 150 metres away, for more than that. Access is an adventure as you need to...

"This hotel was beautiful! The view of the town, hills, and vineyards from the room was gorgeous and I loved sitting out on the porch. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it’s located right in Rothenburg where you can easily walk around town. "
