Get what you pay for but overall OK. I could feel every spring in the mattress so didn't sleep that well. The water pressure of the shower in the morning was very low too. Room was large. All facilities worked.

When I arrived there was a very loud wedding party in full swing which stopped some time after midnight. This may be unusual. Also no plug for the basin in my room. But the room and bed were clean and fine for the money. Reception staff were pleasant. Plenty of parking.

I have decided to drop my rating based on the fact that it was convenient albeit dated and I was happy to leave at that but actually since my checkout and now being abroad I have received two bookings in my name since with 0 reply to my messages stating that I didn't make these bookings. Bet I will be dealing with the stress of no show bills when I return to the UK now. Avoid.

Beds small and not comfortable, not enough pillows and when asked at reception we’re told the hotel is fully booked and there are no more pillows available. Not helpful! One pillow for each person is not good for me so I didn’t sleep well. Loaded skips out the front so not attractive view. Room balconies seperate by a fence panel. Location good, close to Reigate town for restaurants. Car park good size. You have to put reg in for free parking or you get a £100 fine which I don’t understand… the hotel isn’t in the middle of a town so this seems stupid. Old hotel, needs an update and fresh carpet or a deep clean.

I did not stay here because OVO wanted a lot of extra personal information after I had paid that other hotels I have booked don’t need. It felt like a scam. Especially when I could not get any refund. I stayed at travelles instead which was fine.

Don’t go here

Awful the environment and conditions were terrible, we left after being there for 15 minutes. Concerns about the safety due to work going on above our room. Workmen had no safety gear on, they were playfighting on the roof, chucking debris off the side. As the left they were right in front of our window and disrespectful of our privacy. Also noisey

Hotel is tired looking but comfortable

The hotel was not as bad as other reviews in my view. The lady on reception was very friendly and efficient when we checked in. Booked a triple room which was very spacious. We did have a problem with the bath hot tap constantly running as was the toilet. Mentioned to reception but not sorted whilst we were there (2nights). Hotel was tired looking inside but it was comfortable

Excellent Value

Very good place to stop on a budget. A couple of minor niggles with internet, signal was poor as basement room, and wired network cable/socket broken (as a network engineer I was able to rectify this myself) customer service desk answered quickly to queries that I had. Large room with a desk and full size bathtub which was a welcome luxury after a busy week. Great location at the top of Reigate Hill.
