The room is basic, but it's big enough to be comfortable. It has a great location next to Reutlingen West station, and also a bus stop nearby as well to get into town faster. You don't see any of the hotel staff while you are there, except maybe the cleaning staff in the mornings. So it feels very quiet.

The reservation was cancelled without any notification or prior warning. I arrived at the auto-check-in machine, which informed me that my reservation had been cancelled because I wanted to check in one day later. According to the terms and conditions published on hotels.com, cancelling a reservation is not an explicit consequence of a later check-in. This alone already constitutes a breach of the booking contract. I would also like to point out that I received no notification whatsoever about the cancellation – if I had, I would obviously have looked for another hotel. As a result of this situation, I spent over an hour in the freezing cold (the check-in machine was located outside). During the first phone call with an agent, the line dropped and no one answered my subsequent calls (and there were many of them within that hour). Only after calling from my work phone number was I able to speak to someone again and learn that the reservation had indeed been cancelled and that there were no more rooms available at that hotel. Consequently, I initiated the refund process, which will now be handled in the coming days/weeks. In summary, I strongly do not recommend this place. It is a fully automated hotel with no serious customer service and an unclear reservation policy that, in my case, only generated further problems.

Sehr neu und sauber. Hierbei nichts zu beanstanden. Kühlschrank und Türen etwas laut. Vor Ankunft nicht wie versprochen ein Mail mit mehr Anweisungen zum Check-in (bzw. Dass es einen Automaten hat dafür). Machte bei so weiter Anreise (CH) an Sonntagabend Verunsicherung. Telefonisch weder Hotel.com gut erreichbar (bei Wartezeit mit 8-12Min. angegeben kam nach 25Min immer noch nix und dies 2x), noch das Hotel selbst. Leider - in unseren Klimazeiten - gibt es keine Möglichkeit mitzuteilen, dass man die gleiche Wäsche gerne 4Tage behält (zumal in grosser Anzahl vorhanden). Dieses viele Waschen solltet ihr dringend überdenken! Auch handgeschriebener Zettel nützte nichts - würde entsprechende Türhänger begrüssen (bitte Wäsche wechseln und sonst wird belassen wie‘s ist). Dafür wurde gebrauchtes Geschirr nicht gewaschen, was ich wiederum begrüsst hätte. Zudem gibt es keine Anweisungen zum Check-out und der Automat hat diese Option nicht. Was soll man also tun ausser einfach zu gehen? Hinweise für mögl. Frühstücksort/Einkaufen etc. wäre nett (nächster Bäcker etc.) Dies ein paar Anregungen...
