This place is always a nice place to stay. Clean rooms, fulltoiletries, the kitchen is the bonus as it is start with what you need including a free breakfast. Nobody offers a free breakfast more, especially in this price point.

We felt like we were staying in a kitchen with a bed in it, but it was very clean, I’m not one to have to cook breakfast in the morning when I’m on vacation! Location was 72 miles from east entrance to Yellowstone so that was a bit to far to drive every day, and we stayed 3 days, and we had to climb 24 steps to get to room, not pleasant with luggage!!

Much larger and nicer rooms than anticipated. While the building is old, it has a certain charm and the amenities are awesome. It is more like a furnished apartment with separate bedrooms and a partially stocked kitchen. Very glad to be here, even if it is just for one night.

The property itself is very old but updated. I saw plenty of wear and tear. My room was a little noisy being right by the street and stairwell. The customer service was very good. They provided food and drinks for breakfast in my fridge. You also have access to a gym next door. Pros outweigh the few cons.

Stopped here coming back from Yellowstone. Tiny little town I'd never heard of with this hotel right on the main drag. Room reminded me of a well appointed bed-and-breakfast. Fluffy towels and very soft sheets. Kitchenette with commercial grade refrigerator/ freezer stocked for breakfast. One of the best places we stayed on this trip in terms of comfort and affordability.

This property is such a gem! The hotel is still being remodeled and part of it is under construction, but I’m so impressed with what they’ve done so far. It’s super clean, very spacious, and they’ve gone to great lengths to maintain an old-style, 1800’s feel. We’ll definitely be back!

It was a very well done old hotel restored. They provided a breakfast. The steak house on site is under renovation so it was not open. But there was a little local restaurant within walking distance which was good. And across the street is a wonderful bakery. Highly recommend this place and if we are in the area again we will definitely stay here.
