I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've ever had, certainly not what I would expect from a Hilton property.
Upon arrival, there was no functioning air conditioning in the lobby, and the heat was nearly unbearable. Once I got to my room, I was faced with a loud, disruptive noise from the AC unit, making it very difficult to rest. Additionally, the room had a noticeable unpleasant odor, which made the environment even more uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, there was no water offered at check-in, something I’ve come to expect as a basic gesture of hospitality, especially at a Hilton hotel.
Overall, this stay fell far below the standards I associate with Hilton. It was a major disappointment and left me questioning the level of quality and service at this location.
