"Apartment is a compact 1 bedroom in a good location close to transit, parks, and shops. It faces the courtyard and doesn't get direct sun for most ofthe day, and the bedroom has no windows. Several lightbulbs were burnt out so at night it was very dim. Check-in was partially explained - I got the key from a lockbox but hauled all my stuff up five flights of stairs before calling the host to learn that I needed to go down a side hallway, which had an elevator that wasn't mentioned in the listing...

If I ever go to Riga again, I would love to stay in the same area. The only problem was the absence of the elevator, while trying to climb up (with or without a luggage) on the 6th floor. "Elisabete was training on front desk for check in and check out and did a great job! Back exit for a quick route to the old town, buses right in front, and close to the central market and huge shopping centres. I had one of the older rooms but it was clean and comfortable. The layout of the hotel means you can hear inconsiderate people in the corridors, nothing the hotel can do and luck of the draw. 2 of my 3 nights were peaceful! Breakfast has a small but good selection and takeaway cups for coffee, great for an early airport start. You could also get breakfast-to-go though I didn’t try this."
