"Overall, nice and central place in Kitami to stay. Bed was comfortable, several parking lots make it easy to park. We did have some late night partiers the first night, but I was too tired to be bothered and it wasn't reflective of the hotel. I hadn't stayed in a Dormy Inn, but I would stay in this one or another again. Didn't try the onsen, but it looked like a nice small onsen was available."
"The rooftop mixed onsen was a big surprise, but super nice as we don't usually get to be with family members of other sex. (You do provide basic swimwear). It was so nice to look over the lake and just chill out in the onsen upstairs, but the main onsen were also incredible. Food options were plenty in the restaurant (buffet style), and it's so close to the Ainu Kotan... definitely worth a visit!!"
"The location, view of the forest from the river and private onsen bath were as described and very good.
We were half board and the quality of the food in my opinion was really poor, so much so we stopped eating in the restaurant after day one of a three day stay.
I can’t comment on the Japanese menu but the western menu was inedible. It wouldn’t be difficult to offer a simple continental buffet for breakfast."
"One of the most beautiful onsens I have ever been to. As soon as you walk in, there is a sense of calm and quiet elegance. The property is beautifully designed to maximize the view of the lake. Our room consisted of three large sections which can be divided with private screens. The service was outstanding too. Each breakfast and dinner, we dinned in a private room. A special thanks to Shayla. "
