"For a weekend getaway, it was a good experience overall. A couple of things to keep in mind though—getting to the island involves about a two-hour ride on an open boat. If the water is rough, it might not be the most enjoyable, and if the weather turns while you’re on the island, it’s unclear how flexible or reliable transportation back would be.
The beach service is fairly limited, so if you’re expecting a more polished, resort-style experience, it may fall short of that atmosphere. That said, the setting is quiet and low-key, with good cellular and internet service, which is a nice plus.
The accommodations are hut-style—simple, but very comfortable and peaceful.
Overall, it has a lot of potential. With some improvements in service, it could be a really great spot."
