Hôtel Accueillant sur les hauteurs.

Joli petit hôtel niché sur les hauteurs de Rio. Le personnel est très sympathique et à l'écoute. Prendre son petit déjeuner à côté de la piscine dans cet environnement verdoyant est très agréable. Notre chambre possédait une petite terrasse avec hamac : très très appréciable. De là on peut écouter l'effervescence des fêtes nocturnes de Rio. Mais pour mériter cela il faudra faire un peu d'exercice pour monter les différents escaliers avant d'accéder au coeur de l'hôtel et à votre chambre ;)

Used to be the best hostel in rio... Now abandoned

Very sad to come back here and see the place in pieces. Under construction... literally, half a hostel left. This place used to be amazing, full of life, now a ghost town. I was shocked to find myself the ONLY person staying there... I have no idea what is going on there anymore but it is very depressing, lonely, and half shut off. I don't know why it was still open in November. I really hope they manage to reconstruct the place under new management because it used to be amazing.... At the current moment it is just not complete.

Aconchegante, mas nada luxuoso.

Para mim que só voltava ao hostel para descansar no final do dia, o lugar era suficiente. Não há muito luxo e pelo preço nem acho justo exigir tal coisa.

Buen hostel

El hotel está situado en una linda zona de Rio. Pero sus alrededores no son muy seguros y más los sábados y domingos cuando por el día no queda nadie en las calles, lejos del subte y medios de trasporte, los morros al rededor se hacen tediosos de subir más de 2 veces Al día. La gente del hotel es amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. La limpieza está bien. Las camas son muy cómodas. En líneas generales es un buen hostel.

Hostel é bastante simples e aconchegante.

Gostei bastante, o Hostel é muito grande tem diversas dependências. O prédio é bastante antigo, mas tudo é bem limpo, arrumado e bem acomodado os banheiros são bastante limpo. De forma geral o local é bem equipado, tem uma geladeira para os hospedes colocarem mantimentos o que facilita bastante, além disso o café da manhã também é simples, mas bem gostoso.

só pra dormir

realmente é so pra dormir, o quarto que fiquei tinha mofo na parede, e o elevador não funciona.vale só se for pra dormir mesmo, mas o local internamente é seguro..que não está afim de subir ou tem dificuldade com escadas não recomendo...a vista do local é linda.

Carvial 2016

I spent the week in Rio for Carnival with a friend. We stayed in a suite (basic private room). The Hostel is situated on a hillside with great views and a nice chilled out bar and plunge pool.

Living on a cliff!

The commute to this establishment was ridiculously difficult especially around the time of Carnival. NO taxi wanted to venture up the the long windy road this place resides on. When traveling on foot, it is a complete cardio workout. The trip to the hotel by the street is not hard to navigate but once you get to the the door there are steep stairs to go up. While the place is in and of itself Swanky with accommodations the pool the day I wanted to get it was not clean or clear. Out of desperation from the Rio sun I went in… only to be disgusted by the floating dead skin from fellow boarders. (Granted the 1 st day I arrived it appeared to be clean) . Oh and a few things weren't working while I was there the A/C in the room and the elevator. The people who worked there were in general really nice, some more helpful than others. If I had to do it all again…. I wouldn't.

Near Lapa and Great for the Carnival

It is a few bocks (Upstram) from Lapa, where most of the fun is during the Carnival. There are restaurants and markets around. Though the neighbourhood is not the cleanest nor the most modern. The hostel is old and so are the rooms. But is fun to stay here and is affordable during peak season.

Friendly staff and great location.

Hostel is situated on a hill with a magnificent view :) The service is nice and very helpful, the rooms are relatively clean. I would choose it again.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. THIS PLACE IS A RIP

Avoid this place at all cost. Not only is this place terrible, it is also higher priced than other, better hostels. THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF I stayed in three other hostels in Rio, all far better, lower priced. This is by far the worst hostel I have experienced, worldwide.

Foi uma experiência maravilhosa. Um aprendizado! Fui muito bem recebida. As pessoas que trabalham no Hostel fizeram me sentir em casa. Todas às vezes que solicitei informações e ou orientações sobre os arredores, estas foram esclarecedoras. Conheci pessoas agradáveis e divertidas. Uma, em especial, se dizia mais fácil que a facilidade, mas com muitas histórias. Adorei a estadia. Pena que acabou Espero retornar ano que vem.

Der Eingangsbereich ist ansprechend gemacht, leider war das erste Zimmer sehr dreckig (inklusive dreckiger Bettwäsche), daher haben wir ein anderes Zimmer nehmen dürfen, in dem immerhin die Bettwäsche sauber war; die Lage ist okay, im Dunkeln fühlte ich mich draußen nicht mehr sicher und zur nächsten Metro-Station sind es ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg; das Frühstück war gerade so okay

旅館品質不好但人很好

有一晚飯店停水，很晚才修好，洗到一半，浴室的燈竟然又壞掉！而且房間也不是很乾淨，免費提供的早餐碗盤還要自己洗！不過店員都很好，也都很和善，他們旅館的貧民窟tour我覺得很豐富！

Bom, no geral.

Fiquei em um quarto privativo para uma pessoa. O suficiente para o que eu precisava: cama, espelho e ar condicionado. Não cheguei a ligar o ar condicionado porque não sinto muito calor e as duas noites que fiquei estavam bem frescas. A roupa de cama e toalhas eram limpas. O banheiro coletivo que usei era limpo, até porque acho que só eu que o utilizei. Só senti falta de ganchinhos para pendurar as roupas dentro do banheiro, os que tinham estavam quebrados. O café da manhã é muito ruim. Ainda bem que só tomei uma vez. Os staffs eram, em sua maioria, atenciosos. O bairro é lindo, bem perto da Lapa, mas um ponto negativo é que a maioria dos taxistas não faz corrida pra lá. Alegam não gostar do bairro e das ladeiras.

Minha estadia foi boa, o prédio é bastante antigo, porém bacana, cairia bem uma pintura para melhor conservação e impressão do ambiente. As 3 moças que são staffs recepcionistas são super bacanas e prestativas. Apesar de muitos taxistas terem me dito que o morro de Santa Tereza é uma área tranquila, 2 gringos foram assaltados na porta do hostel aguardando taxi! Então fica a dica de quem ficar nesse hostel pedir pelo taxi e aguardar na recepção, só saia quando o taxi estiver na porta! Em geral o hostel é bacana, tem uma vista legal pois fica no alto do morro, o que acarreta muitas escadas também para chegar lá! Porém tem a opção de elevador (anos 70 com porta de grades ainda), mas que funciona bem. Quanto ao preço só achei ok porque comprei na promoção pela metade do valor (fora de temporada), mas definitivamente não vale o preço cheio.

Eu recomendo

Muito rápido, apenas 1 noite, mas correspondeu as minhas expectativas. O ar condicionado é barulhento e como relatei as pessoas da recepção o banheiro no andar de cima precisa ter um cabideiro maior.
