The room in general was good, except for the leak on the ceiling that nobody ever came to fix because they said it was “a lot of condensation “ and they didn’t have USB or USB-C chargers on the wall. Américas Barra Hotel
Una noche habia basura en el pasillo y por la mañana seguia ahí. El piso de la habitacion se sentia sucio al pisar descalza. Staff muy amables, sobre todo la chica de recepción que me ayudo a conseguir pizzeria. Desayuno muy rico y completo.

The best of the 4 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Rio. The only one that wasn’t full of mosquitoes ☺️ lovely rooftop pool made it feel like a holiday vs hostel.. good air conditioning too.

ibis budget Rio de Janeiro Nova America
Hotel was ok, breakfast was average, staff don’t speak English and a bit unhelpful. Room is tiny. Best part of this hotel is location next to shopping centre.
