Samba Itaboraí
Clean room, friendly-enough staff and an excellent all you can eat breakfast. It's a bit far from Rio City and the beaches - roughly 50 minutes - , but it's perfect if you want some peace and quiet away from the madness of Rio. I would definitely recommend and I would stay here again.

Solar do Amanhecer
Lovely big room overlooking the ocean. Good choice at breakfast although the tea could be better - I think this is probably a Brazil import issue rather than a hotel issue!

Pousada Pratagy
Para chegar no quarto tinha 3 lances de escada, o chuveiro quase não saia água, café da manhã ruim, sem variedade, quando acabavam os itens não eram repostos, para quem fosse tomar o café um pouco mais tarde, não tinha nem água para beber. A piscina estava muito suja, com a água turva.
