However, some of the challenges with the hotel were: 1) very limited car parking. The alternate parking is a 5mins walk - which is odd for a suburban location. 2) very limited options for dinner, if wanting something different than the hotel's own restaurant's menu 3) despite proximity to a business district and a university, the hotel is NOT...

Excellent ambience with the constant sight of the beach from our room Even the decor in the Reception and above the stairs was beautiful. We received a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate hubby's birthday and our anniversary, which was very thoughtful and a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend staying in this hotel. "Room was ok for a single night. Apartments did not seem well built. Had poor ventilation and smelt of curry. Bad sound insulation. Beds ok, not great. Pillows need improvement. Parking in street was fine. We could hear people banging around at 5:30. Linen was good quality and clean. Room was clean. We haven’t stayed in Adelaide before so nothing to compare with but it seemed expensive for what we got. "

"The staff are fabulous. Stayed twice here and will again. The housekeepers are so cheery and lovely, the bar staff and reception are just as great. Kyla has assisted twice with check-in and has been a gem! Super clean rooms, well stocked and can't fault this place! Theres a reason its Award Winning and imo, well deserved. "

"I walked in and there is no reception desk, just computer screens mounted facing you where you check yourself in. A staff member did arrive to help me log in etc. The latest fashion in decorating rooms seemed to have been used here.... subdued lighting ( actually quite dim even with all the lamps on), concrete walls instead of plaster walls, covered by a curtain. You pull the curtain back expecting a window and it's just a concrete wall. Someone had set the clock on the TV screen to turn it on...

"There was no cupboard space to put my clothes except to hang my coat. I hsd a rucksack, if i had a suitcaseit would have been hard to put it anywhere where it was out of the way. I was a single occupier with two people it would have been difficult to pass each other as the bed took up most of the space "

"Property extremely dated, old and not maintained. Poor presentation, photos did not reflect our room. Wouldn't recommend staying here. No Wifi in rooms only in Reception. "
