"This property was amazing! We booked it last minute just because we seen it was walking distance to Sutter Health Park, which it literally is like a 5 minute walk. The hotel itself was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful."

"Very helpful staff, arranged the airport shuttle when we returned our hire car. Near to downtown, midtown and Old Town via taxi/uber. Clean rooms, made up when requested. Lovely place to relax and chill by the pool for us before we headed to Las Vegas. Plenty of parking, can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t get up for it."

"We spent two nights over Father's Day weekend. We were in town to catch an A's game and a concert at Golden 1. This location is unbeatable. Everything within walking distance. We spent some time both days at the bar. Drinks were great. Front desk was very helpful. Would definitely recommend."

I could've lived with the comical "gym" that is literally the size of a walk-in closet big enough to hold a grand total of two treadmills and a few weights. "Clean, quiet hotel within easy walking distance of Sutter Health Park. There is a charge to park at the property in a secure lot. Great breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. The property is in West Sacramento and much more affordable than lodging on the east side of the river. The neighborhood is not posh, but we never felt unsafe walking to baseball or the river. We had an enjoyable four night stay and would definitely stay here again."

"I come to Sacramento quite a bit for work and while there are plenty of hotels in the depths of downtown and along the Sacramento waterfront there are not a whole lot of options near the Capital and other state agency building. The Sterling is AWESOME for an affordable boutique stay in a very walkable and lovely part of town where accommodations are limited. I plan on making this my regular spot to stay when I'm in Sacramento."
