"What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. "This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable.
